We’re passionate about wonderful Wainuiomata. It’s our home and we’re hosts who love to share about all the good stuff in our stunning valley.

Mac's horsemanship is so good that he and his horse Chassis rode in the move Lord of the Rings: Return of the King.
Mac loves connecting people with nature. Helping you feel comfortable and engaged with your horse is top priority for Mac. Together you'll head up the hill to take in breath-taking views of the South Island and Wellington Harbour - all from atop one of Mac's wonderful horses.
If you're lucky you might even see a pod of dolphins. One and two hour farm rides are available or choose a four hour beach ride with lunch.

Angie loves making everyone feel welcome at her "Little house with Charm on a farm'' and share the beauty and relaxation of her little piece of heaven

Lots of great sighting opportunities in Wainuiomata, especially in around the native bush areas such as Remutaka Forest Park, Wainuiomata Recreation Area and the Wainuiomata Trail Park. Tui have almost-black heads, underparts, wings and tails that have an iridescent blue and green sheen, especially on the head and wings. The upper back and flanks are dark reddish brown with a bronze sheen, the nape and sides of the neck have filamentous white feathers, and there are two unusual curled white feather tufts on the throat (poi). A treat to hear as they can sing beautifully as well as making coughs, grunts and wheezes.
